Hello everyone!
As you can see above, the video on Plan Z has now been published after a longer than normal development time. This was mainly due to me being away during much of June, first on a work trip to Stockholm and then a holiday to Seville.
This video was for me about tying up a few loose ends, discussing some interesting things about the RN's and Kriegsmarine's preparations for World War 2 that I hadn't previously touched on. In particular the strange dance where both sides seemed to plan for a completely different war, making almost the same wrong assumptions about what would be important.
Another important point I wanted to highlight was just how safe ships in convoy were in relative terms- it was those that remained unescorted that were mauled.

The next video is to be on the 1944/45 Siege of Budapest, as part of hungarian-themed collaboration on Hungary. This topic *may* be split into two videos, with the first (or only) one being published on 27th July.
Outside of that I have some work done towards a video on the surrender of the German High Seas Fleet in 1918 and its subsequent scuttling- sadly I missed the 100th anniversary of the latter event without realising it this month.
I am also still reading up on D-Day in prep for the long-awaited series on this, and am looking for books at the moment on Greece 1940/41. I will be doing a poll to decide which topic gets priority after Budapest, so stay tuned for that!
