Submarines, Submarines, Submarines - 2022 Update 1

Hello everyone!

Happy new year to you all. I hope you all enjoyed a restful festive period however you spent it. Let's get right into the updates.

Ramage's Rampage Video - a smash hit!

Just before Christmas I published the 2nd Pacific Submarines video, on 'Ramage's Rampage'. I'm delighted to say it has done terrifically, which is greatly encouraging at the end of what had been a bit of an up and down last few months of 2021.

Thanks for all the support through the whole of 2021. Overall not always the easiest year due to real world events, but it will always be the year I started doing YouTube full time so a momentous one at that.

The Ramage video has been so successful in fact, I've rejigged some of the video output at the start of this year. Lets run through all the active projects and where they stand-

1. The Remarkable Story of USS Barb

So first up this year was going to be a video on the Munich agreement, but because the research for that was dragging on and because the Submarine videos have done well, I've decided to swap in another remarkable tale from the US Pacific submarine war in its place.

In this video we're going to look at the USS Barb and a couple of incredible bits of the war it took part in under its captain, Eugene Fluckey.

Publication: 21st Jan

2. The sinking of Aboukir, Cressy and Hogue (1914)

The second video this year will also be submarine related, but from World War 1. It'll be a short(ish) video on the sinking of three British cruisers by a single German submarine in 1914.

Estimated publication: Early Feb

3. Raid on Zeebrugge

Hoping to do a video on the raid of Zeebrugge towards the end of February. Will have more detail on this soon hopefully.

4. The Falklands War

This will be the meat of the first half of this year on the channel. We're going to do a comphrensive telling of the Falklands War for its 40th anniversary, starting in late March and running through to June in an almost 'as it happened' format.

Expecting this series to be 7-8 videos in length, making it comfortable the most ambitious Historigraph series to date. Very excited to bring it to you all.

Other projects

There are a few other things that have been put on the back burner for now that I will pick up probably later in the year. These include:

- Spring Awakening

- Munich

- Burma

- Greece 40/41

- Warsaw Rising

Comments

Kind of yeah. It's going to be a much bigger challenge for me since I'm just one person, but going to try my best to keep up.

Also looking forward to the Falklands War series.

Looking forward to the Falklands War series. Sounds kinda like what Time Ghost does for things (which is great).
