Hahahahahaha so many people are down for Patricks Wilson π« I get it, I feel like they missed a golden chance to do some terrifying stuff involving a college campus though!

I didn't love it, I get what the writer was trying to do with the disconnection of the family, but it was a bit much, and it took far too much time rehashing things we already know from the previous movies. Still, it had some good scares, and the acting was on point, I appreciated Patrick's choice not to bombard us with the jarring loud off-key piano notes for each jump scare. I think for his directorial debut, he made the most of what he could with that script. It felt like the writer was attempting to Mike Flanaganize the story but fell short and lacked the finesse. Not perfect, but I'd watch it again, But I am a basic thirsty bitch when it comes to Patrick Wilson, so, yeah. ALSO, I give ibonus points for the cover of Shakespear's Sister's "Stay" by Ghost, featuring Patrick Wilson as the ending credits music.
