Working with color overlay modes is a very interesting thing, but it is impossible to fully describe it. The artist himself knows what he needs and learns the properties of this or that mode by simply switching the button in real time!
Sometimes you don't know exactly what you need from a color and by switching modes you choose the one that suits you best. That's why I can't tell you exactly what mode I use and what I use it for.
But there is one little foundation that works for some things. This is Liner Light for contouring shit. Just like Shade or Burn for light ♥
