Scalping issue. Please read.

Hello everyone. This is a very important update.

It has come into light that my locked patreon content had been recently uploaded to  scalping site, that was also just taken down a week ago before my knowledge of this happening.

This only tells me that, among 41 patrons that I have here, one or more have been uploading my content without my permission, which may include my concepts, or early comic pages.

While the website was taken down, this does not mean I have nothing to worry about until some other site comes up that will post stolen content with the same participant.

This announcement is to let you know I am now aware of my content being stolen, and I am now looking carefully into the issue for possible suspects who are joined at certain tiers, who could be leaking my content for others to view freely. If I rule out one or more, or find out who exactly it is after my research, you will be promptly banned and removed from this patreon and my social media.

When you take content from a creator who is trying to make a living off of their projects, you take away the attention and possible support that could be gained for those individuals. If you truly enjoy someone's work, it is as simple as supporting the comic, and sharing ways to support the comic literally by providing links to the content, and links to ways you can support it with the resources provided by the original source of the content.

It really is not that hard to do.

Actively partaking in stolen content only tells me you do not care for the hours I put into providing this comic and its concepts, and most of the time, this is a surefire way to kill motivation to continue the project, because whats the point if no one actually cares for the labor you put into it, right? You will be the reason that project discontinues, and I love this comic with all my heart.

That being said, if the scalper is still a member of this patreon, I strongly urge you to discontinue spreading my locked content for others to view freely, especially if you are leaking my comic pages early. It does not matter if the website, or sites, you were leaking to were taken down. This effects me and the lifeline of the comic at a very personal level.

Guardia is uploaded for free. Viewing early concepts and early pages is an option to help the continuation and survival of the comic, not for you to freely share with others. When these things happen, it means I have to cut these options from the Patreon, and its not fair to the other patrons who support the tier.

Please, DO NOT SHARE MY LOCKED CONTENT. When it is revealed in comic, I unlock it myself for everyone else to see.

I urge you to share the patreon and share the webcomic, not the locked content.

As I am looking into this matter, among the 41 members I have on this Patreon, I have ruled out 7 possible suspects from the $1-$10 tier.

Thank you for understanding.

That post should be fine, yes!

I think the only thing I've done is share the Vesper ref (watermarked) with a friend which I'm pretty sure wasn't patreon only. Correct me if I'm wrong on this and good luck hunting.

Ive been seeing this a lot on patreon and its just so wrong, people work hard to make this content, it's literally their life work. Giving away or selling paid content to other people is literally stealing that away from them.
