Year of the Majuu - The Foundry Gown.

The Foundry Gown dates way back into the years of Majuuin history long before the reign of King T'llas Arduos.

It was worn by female Majuuin' blacksmiths of high repute and mastery of their craft.

The gown is lined with an inflammable silk that was used to protect the blacksmith from sparks and other dangers of blacksmithing. Thankfully, due to the Majuu's naturally high resistance of natural flames and heat,  the blacksmith could simply enjoy their craft without the worries of those without this natural protection.

The Foundry Gown came in many types of fashionable ways, often times bearing the crest of the family to whom it belonged, and so forth, was passed down from mothers to daughters for generations and generations.

When passed down to a family member, the new owner of the families Foundry Gown had to first master their family's craft. Only then could they earn the right to wear the gown with pride (Along with any adjustments as each new owner often varied in body size and structure.)

They also used the Foundry Gown were they to be wed to their significant other, otherwise, the gown could only be worn in times of work as it served as the symbol of their family's craft and pride.

You could even locate the origin of a craft based on the matching crest that was often left on the original item.

After the war caused by the king, and the Majuu lost the respectable reputation they once held, the Foundry Gown simply became an heirloom, and reminder of olden times.

Some still wear their Foundry gowns when performing work, but now'a'days in modern times, Majuu do not craft the items that once noted their incredible skills.

The pride of the Foundry Gown declined as the Majuu sought to simply survive in the new times.

However, whether it be mother or father now, the passing of the Foundry Gown, never changed.
