October Update

Hi hi again guys! Sorry once again for the radio silence there has been a lot going on IRL so I've had to kinda go in and out on a lot of things.

I didnt update here for a while but between working on things pretty much 24/7, I had a major deal of burn out and decided I needed to rest for September so I could come back refreshed to get my motive back, however now that I'm trying to get back on track, and between the time that I had taken a break, I started to think about some things going forward, so that will be explained coming up on this update.

First and foremost, yes, my burn out period is over and I'm back on track with trying to get some work done, but for the most part so I don't completely trash my energy levels, I'm going to try and balance more personal time into my work so I dont tire out for a long period as this has taken.

That being said, in the next few coming weeks, I will be resuming work on Guardia! I need to redraw a few pages but once I have a my next few pages planned out, we will be coming back with at least one page a week until I can get caught up on my work. So I'll have concepts to share and some more Guardia related things coming at you in a short time!

My second update, however, brings into the question of the future of this Patreon.
While I was away, I had taken a long time to think about what I want to do in regards to keeping it open. The rewards have have been taken forever to get to, and for that reason, I refused to accept new rewards and commissions alike until they were finished. But in between my work life, IRL situations, and the catch up scenario, I had thought about closing down this Patreon, and continuing any patronage on Ko-fi. This does not mean that rewards made on the Patreon List will be nullified, after all, it counts as paid work and you deserve the rewards that you earned for helping me out.

I've been on Patreon ever since I started Guardia in 2014, It is also my main support for bills that I need to pay at the beginning of the month, so letting go of Patreon is a very hard decision and one that doesn't really come with an easy answer.

This does not mean that I am closing it down now, but it is in careful consideration. I dislike keeping others waiting on work that I owe them and Patreon work has been owed for an incredibly long time.

So before the decision can even be processed, I would like some feedback on moving patronage to ko-fi.

This would mean that rewards would be discontinued, but you still get the same Early Access benefits as you would on Patreon (ie. Early looks at pages and concepts before they go up publically.) Plus you have the other benefit of getting discounts easier on commissions and adopts sales (becuase I dont have to do the math anymore, haha!)

So while Ko-fi would be an easier to manage way to support me, the type of rewards gained are greatly changed as I would only be using kofi as a general support line to make things easier on me while I work on catching up.
