Hello Time Team. Could you put some kind of gazebo over the trench to make it more comfortable in the hot sun? x

Lally

I so enjoy both Naomi and Matt, so the film of their conversation was a treat. Also, I appreciated Matt describing the "state of play."

Elizabeth Neill

I'm curious. As hot as it is, is there a reason all the diggers in the trench are wearing safety vests? I know they're not that heavy or warm, but with the heat it seems a bit much to put on yet another layer. Always great to hear from Matt and Naomi. Thanks for sharing a bit of your day with us!

Robert Boudreau

Excellent. I left a comment with the vlog... a big thank you to everyone for making this happen 👍

Patricia Amero

Great, thank you!

Marcus Alley

Some of the archaeology is very close to the surface and so the early layers need to be handled very carefully. The trench has also been extended at the end of last week, so there's a new area of top soil to work through at the far end. More detail to follow in time.

Time Team

I feel like I must be missing something here: Matt said that you've just come down to the features, but there are only a couple of days left in your time there. Was this dig meant to be just about what's in the topsoil? Will other groups be working on this after Time Team leaves? Thanks for the access, it's been great to follow along

Marcus Alley

One thing I like about the 360 camera, is the mobility it has. I like seeing the site from different angles. I did miss this live again. I'm just going to plan that you will be doing it again tomorrow, or Thursday, or Friday at this same time and not try to get errands done. The recycling can wait until after the Time Team Livestream.

Thanks for sharing, great to hear live from the team!

Great having Matt on mic for a time and to hear Naomi's input...

JanD

Thanks for the commentary, Matt / Naomi :)

Jason Mann

Starts with narration then cuts out.

Ed Mair

Great to hear from Matt with an update and Naomi with her tank ! I decided before Matt confirmed that the big red thing under the camera is a water sprayer.

Bob Pockney

Perfect!!!!! LOVE watching these 360 vids. What an amazing perk with the Patreon membership. Totally worth it!!

Michael Louk

Great weather and views.

Graham Stokes

I see Naomi is hard at work!
