Another Round of Casting Done!

After about 10 days of taking auditions (almost 40 of them), we’ve been able to cast all listed roles for the remainder of season 7’s supporting characters! Compared to previous rounds of auditioning, this was one of the quickest and most successful to date, and the new talent coming in is extremely impressive.
With such an emotionally charged season, a lot of vulnerability was required during this round of recording, so I was really holding out hope that we got some skilled actors on deck to make that happen. Luckily, they did. Each role was successfully closed today, and the scripts have been sent out accordingly.
Granted, we are still all the way back to our Star Wars crossover special, proceeding season 7, but it’s really a virtue to have as much preparation done for upcoming episodes as that’s happening. That way, everything will be primed and ready to go for the editor. That won’t mean the search for extra hands in the editor’s room won’t be had; I hope to seek further assistance to lighten the load and speed the process as this happens. Either way, we are in for some good stuff ahead!
