Early Shorts: THEA500 + real floopies
Added 2022-08-11 02:16:11 +0000 UTCFind out how I got real floppy disks working on THEA500 Mini thanks to a special folder.
Whatโs in that special folder? Literally nothing but a 0 bytes WHDLoad file that the machine looks for to allow the disk to mount. By making it 0 bytes it allows space for a .ADF file on a 1.44 MB disk. Simples! ๐คซ
In all seriousness if anyone can test this before it goes public Saturday it would be a great precaution for me. You donโt have to do the paint and sticker ๐ But maybe you already have the USB floppy drive, perhaps from my previous THEC64 vidsโฆ
