According to Born Again producers Mayor Kingpin was meant to parallel the whole Trump thing, where a lot of people are like "Yeah he committed a crime but I think he'll fix the city so I'll vote for him"

That's legitimately a terrible thing to have in your safehouse when you're trying to keep a high-profile informant alive. @14:39: "On her pizza?" Is it a New York thing? I have never heard of broccoli on pizza outside of Inside Out. @19:22: I clocked Dex's fabricated relationship with Julie immediately. Just too many details. It's so in character how that Matt, Karen, and Foggy are all, individually, laser-focused in on Fisk. And I know that the season is going to involve no one backing down and Matt seeing the error of his ways about cutting off his friends and his civilian life, blah blah blah, and I'm already bored of it. Even though this season came out like a decade ago, I want to formally start a petition for this show to take a hard right toward the Land of Healthy Communication. And I know that your thing always, but what is their problem with just a full season of Nelson, Murdock & Page?

I truly enjoy that they added some depth to the character all the while making sure to convey him as a person that is clearly disturbed. The kinda guy that just feels… off. Like he could snap at any moment. It is a welcome addition to the character which can very easily be portrayed as one-dimensional. Wilson Bethel is dead on (pun intended) at portraying this disturbed chaotic force hidden just under the surface of an orderly fbi agent. The triangular conflict between Bullseye-Kingpin-Matt is one of my favorite aspects of this season. Hope you enjoy it aswell.

2025-04-07 14:36:30 +0000 UTCThe one thing I've always found strange about season 3 is Matt is so convinced with no evidence that Elektra is dead even though he made it out of the building, so it's very possible she also did. Meanwhile, I'm thinking this whole time, yeah, she's definitely not dead.
