Viridian Awakening - Part XV

Simply put, gout sucks!
I had a massive flare up this month. This time, instead of my feet and ankles, it went for my right wrist and hand. Yes, I am right-handed. Three weeks of varied medications, guzzling gallons of cherry juice, and lots of creative swearing... and I still can't make a tight fist.
So. February has been a fun month all around.
But enough about my real life drama. In our story, William has his mettle tested in another arena, and doesn't do so well. In his defense, I was nearly that clueless when I was his age, and I have friends that are older and just as oblivious.
You know who you are.
Switching to psychology for grad school was one of the more satisfying decisions I've ever made.
