Note: The menu discussed was from a list of New England traditional Thanksgiving dishes. Runsamok (my wife, editor, and co-author) actually makes the stewed pearl onions every year (she learned it from her grandma from Connecticut).
I'm still outlining a lot of future events and conflicts, but filling in all the necessary build-up and connecting bits is time-consuming. However, the ending is already determined.
