Writing is going well. i'm actually getting ahead, but... i'm also finding lots of opportunities to go back and add new scenes in between existing ones. My process when i start a work session is to go back a ways and read/edit things I've already written,
And this usually means finding new errors or weak word selections.
Then I hit the end of what I've got done with a 'running start' that helps the new scene write itself in my head. It's a good technique for me to avoid writer's block. It also means that by the time I publish something here, it's been edited to a fare-the-well!
But since the last update, I've gone back and revised and/or added new scenes over half a dozen times. It's also a factor when I integrate Runsamok's Taylor-POV scenes into the ongoing narrative. Especially when she comes up with cooler ideas than I do.
What this does mean is that while I'm going to be publishing larger updates in the future (cliffhangers permitting), I'm not going to post material that isn't fully vetted and unlike to get added to in the future.
