And honestly it’s the backbone of my polyamorous experience too. I think this is one of the biggest reasons I started exploring non monogamy when I was younger.

Good on you for taking a break when you needed. Also yeah, the reason I'm polyam is because I don't want to be everything to anyone and don't expect them to be for me. Please PLEASE have friends and spend time with them
