Topics that interest you?

Hi everyone! Hope you are doing well :) What are you up to this weekend?

I would like to welcome new people and welcome back the cultists! As you know, we have hundreds of videos on patreon, you may see the entire list here <3

https://www.patreon.com/posts/read-me-tiers-33779076

Also, we wanted to run something by you, and get your input. How would you feel about us doing more space marines? Would you like to see a What Where Why of Space Marines (if so what questions would you have)?

Also, what other games/anime etc would you like us to cover? Any obscure topics you wish you could hear about :) god knows Sophie has a lot of obscure things she would love to share!

Thanks so much!

PS: if you want to see our full YouTube playlists, you can see them here :) https://www.youtube.com/@SinclairLore/playlists

PPS. Our IRL stuff has been a little tough and we really appreciate all your love and support. thank you so much everyone, you are our rock <3

I'm brand new so I apologize if this is already a thing but Neon Genesis Evangelion lore would be amazing

I’m replying to this so late so I’m sorry. There is a game from my youth that you guys recently briefly covered because of the remake which was Dead Space. I particularly love DS1 and 2. Also for an upcoming game that has a lot of rich backstory would be Dragon Age. I am highly anticipating DA3 later this year.

Ok, one more thing, there is an old (late 80s/early 90s) Italian horror movie called "Plankton" aka "Creatures from the Abyss" that is absolutely, positively, without a hint of hyperbole, the most hilariously insane thing ever put on film. It involves obnoxious 30 year old "college students," a boat, fish people, science, explosions, and lots of Italian cheese. If I spoiled it anymore than that, you probably wouldn't believe me. I would recommend going in "blind" for your first viewing, and seeing if you can predict what kind of insanity next scene will contain (I don't think it's possible, but it might be fun). It starts out slow, but once it gets going, it continues to torpedo downwards at lightspeed into the depths of cheezeball italian z- movie hell (heaven?) until the last frame. It contains some of the most absurd dialogue I've ever heard, delivered completely deadpan, without a hint of irony. I have seen a lot more low budget, cheesy, b movies than any sane person would ever admit to, and I must say, in my humble opinion, "Creatures from the Abyss" is by far the best of the worst.

This is something that will probably only interest me, but more SNES games coverage like that Xardion video would be awesome. EDIT: also, yes! Warhammer40k videos sound good! Like a what, where, why for people with no clue about warhammer40k

Have you played Hades? Because there’s a game which has made me feel things. I really hate roguelikes but it manages to make the trappings of the genre really work for its themes of perseverance. Apologies to compare but if Dark Souls tells you to “prepare to die” (a tag line I think they… got a bit carried away with but whatever), Hades dares you to “learn to live”

Have you ever delved into the vast ocean that is the shin megami tensei franchise? Also, any obscure anime content is always god.

Sayucchi

Im really new to War Hammer and im really facinated by the lore so id be really stoked for more 40k videos!

Recently I got super into Kunitsu Gami, the purifying princess that’s foreshadowed as a curse and all the different youkai and monsters are so interesting… not to talk about the gender stuff at the end, LOVED it, but this is more of a personal wish since it’s not so popular and I adore hearing you two talk. You introduced me to armored core which I wasn’t interested at first, every topic is always a pleasure to listen (I’m including Reborn)

Yes please to more 40k stuff, I think it would be really enjoyable to follow Sin's interest in it and have her lead the way based on what she is curious about. And similarly I want to hear Sophie exhaustively go through her entire 'wall of shame' because I'm sure it will be stuff that I have never heard of.

I'd love a take or playthrough of Shadowman Remastered, or at least the Shadowman expanded universe. A gaming video on the Dreamcast's odder library would be wonderful, too. There's so much weird stuff in there, like Illbleed and Blue Stinger...or Seaman.

Jane Barnstien

i think 40k is a great subject because its as vast as you could ever need

gwenyvere

Personally I adore your deep dives on games and anime series I know very little about. The cryptid stuff is great as well. I am not overly keen on spacemarines but your take on different chapters or perhaps the evolution of spacemarine imagery and lore would be neat. The journey from the 80's when marines were men and women taken from prisons via the 4th edition's manly übermensch to today's slightly more nuanced space marines would be interesting.

Almasti Dyatlov

The trans Warhammer video is what finally got me to become a patron. I'd watch 20 hours of that stuff!

Joe Stevens

If you wanted to branch out into Tau that'd be super cool

bleakeur

Maybe cover some of the old gods, the warp, etc. There’s a lot of spooky, esoteric content in the 40k universe, and October is right around the corner.

Souptastick

But also, please yes more 40k stuff. The Rogue Trader game by Owlcat is really good, but Sin may not like it because it's clickbait.

Gary Herrington

This might be a little out of your wheelhouse, but I've been dying to hear Sophie's take on Evangelion for YEARS. Lol.

There is also a PS1 game called "Rising Zan: Samurai Gunman" that is batshit insane/ awesome!

I loved the vampire hunter D podcast with penpenpals. There is an anime series/ manga called Dororo that is really good, and there is a fruckin incredibly overlooked/ underrated PS2 game (released as "Blood Will Tell" in North America, "Dororo" everywhere else), in which you play as a samurai with swords in his arms and a cannon in his kneecap, and have to retrieve your body parts from 48 "fiends." It was a budget title released by sega towards the end of the PS2 era (also around the time "devil may cry 3" came out), so it kind of flew under the radar. I bought a new copy for $20, which I still have, when it came out, but last time I checked eBay, there were copies listed for over $1000. Anyway, if you can emulate it, it is definitely worth playing through, and I think it would be an interesting topic for a vid.

I'd love to hear your thoughts on the game I'm currently hyperfixating on, Fear & Hunger 2. It's such a venn diagram of stuff that attracts the longterm bloodborne community. (Berserk pastiche, problematic horror, disproportionate lgbt+ fanbase)

I don't remember if you had an episode about it or if it just came up in an episode but it was fun to hear you girls talk about star wars.

Xelayxes

Not sure if you two are familiar with the anime “Mononoke” but it’s one season and I feel you two would be fascinated by it. Love everything you put out though!
