Before I get into the track: I've been trying to decide exactly how I should celebrate my new patrons for the month, who have all signed up to the Rotti tier! I'm really glad you guys are supporting me with such a pledge, and I want to make it worth your while! I recently ordered some cute Sample Heaven - themed pins just for fun, and I'm thinking of giving them away to Rotti patrons as a thank you! I'll make a formal announcement in a day or two, so stay tuned!
Anyway, about the track: I went into the process a bit on the MP3 post for this track, so I'll go into more detail here! In order to start off the collab, I picked a sample which I liked and did the chops which you hear from 0:00 to 0:35. After doing the chops, I sent the project to Ev.exi, and he put the drums and the breakdown together, as well as the synthesizers and bass. After that, he sent the project back to me, and I'm currently in the process of extending the song to full length!
Right now I'm working on adding a second breakdown and having a proper climax for the song. I've been spending some time recording my guitar to get kind of a metal sound for the rest of the track, and It's gonna be pretty brutal! I'm also messing around with that vaporwave-y sounding sample near the end of the preview. I want to incorporate that into the song a bit more, as a really chill ending to an intense track. Can't wait to share more progress with you guys!
