Enjoy this track from my new EP! I have a few tracks lined up with a similar sound to this one, as I was intending to go for a fun, carefree sound on this new project. As mentioned in the MP3 post, I'm focusing more on percussion for this new batch of songs, as my last record (Now That I Have You) was a little more based around the sample chops. I've been looking for a new direction for a while since that record, and I think doing some fun carefree house music is a good direction!
My last record also was a bit more serious, at least some of the tracks were (the title track and Soldissimo especially). I've gotten varied responses to those tracks. I've seen people say those are their absolute favorites and others who preferred the more Future Funk stuff. I want to make more music with a serious mood regardless, but I think taking a break from that for now would be a good change of pace and keep things fresh for me.
