I would say happy Friday, but I'm actually posting this on Sunday, which is a bit of a first for a weekly track! I actually had another track lined up to post on Friday, but I decided to scrap it and finish this one instead. I've been a bit caught up with getting those tape orders out and starting school again, so forgive me!
For this track I'm finally using a sample that I've always wanted to get some use out of! I was inspired by some old French House tracks I've been listening to that use the sample, but had some pretty weak production in my opinion. As a result, I decided to give the sample a try myself. This is actually the same way Sweet Baby came to be! I get a lot of inspiration from trying to update some really old school tracks to more of a modern Future Funk flavor.

In other news, I should mention that while I can't close the vinyl pressing poll down, the results seem pretty definitive at this point!

I'm pretty surprised, honestly. I expected one of my full-length releases or Komoroko to get more points, but if you guys want a Black One pressing, so be it! I'll pass off the news to the guys who messaged me about getting a pressing done, and let them know the results.
