Happy thanksgiving! Hope you all had a nice bountiful feast yesterday (and good luck with the black Friday shopping if you're going to undertake that challenge...)
This week I'm sharing a commission piece I've been working on! This track was inspired by some of the smoother tracks I've been listening to recently. I wanted to make something chill and romantic, so I looked through my library for a fitting reference track. I settled on this:

I felt like this track had the vibe I was looking for, so I took elements from it for what I was going for. In particular, I felt the rhodes piano and the strings was something I needed to have in my track. I found some nice strings on splice that I chopped for my track (I try not to rely on Splice samples too much, but MIDI strings just don't do it for me) and the Rhodes I played myself. I also went through the effort of bringing my guitar with me to Costa Rica, so I decided to incorperate that as well!
