Pathologic, For Those Who Will Never Play It (Haruspex's Route) [Day 1 Rough Cut Preview]

The preview of Day 1 is finally here!! Time at last to properly meet Artemy~

As I did with Daniil's Act 2, I've decided to start editing at the beginning of the main show, both since that helps me get a sense of what the intro is leading into an let's me adjust appropriately and since I figure it would be a bit anti-climatic to have the first preview be nothing but me talking about Anton Chekhov for 10 minutes followed by an intro into nothing.

With that says, as ever with these early previews, it is still rough in places.

Some known issues:

Still missing lines from various actors, as is to be expected at this early stage
The dialogue text hasn't been synced up to speech yet
Certain gags aren't animated/complete yet while I wait for other assets to complete them
Thumbnail is ofc temporary, will be getting replaced with commissioned art when that comes in
I've done my best to catch all of the little editing errors, but I've got no doubt some still snuck through
The end is a little anti-climatic at the moment as I'm planning on hard cutting out on Daniil's final line (in much the same I did with Rubin during Daniil's Day 1), but without the actual audio in place for that, I recognize the ending feels abrupt for now.

Overall though, I am quite proud of how things are shaping up! Already have the audio for Day 2 recorded, been continuing research to refine a lot of the ideas going into this, most of the actors have been contacted and cast, and, perhaps most importantly, I'm really excited an energized to keep working on this.

I really think this has the potential to be the best thing I've ever made, and I'm going to be working hard to bring it up to that standard. For now though, I think I'll leave it at that and let you get around to actually watching the thing.
