Saturnine Dreadnought Part 1
Added 2025-08-22 20:15:48 +0000 UTCThis is part 1 of a 2 part set for how to paint the new Saturnine Dreadnought without using an airbrush or oil paints. You will need a small drybrush of some kind, a large normal brush (I used an Artis Opus size 4) and a detail brush (I used an Artis Opus 00)
The dreadnought will be painted as an Imperial Fist, but the same techniques can be used for other Legions.
The following paints were used:
Games Workshop: Rhinox Hide, Morurnfang Brown, Balor Brown, XV-88, Sotek Green, Darkoath Flesh (Contrast), Contrast Medium
AK: Deep Orange, Volcanic Yellow, Ice Yellow, Tenebrous Grey, Neutral Grey
Vallejo: Exhaust Manifold Metallic

Would love to know how you would paint those shoulder pads trim in nmm. Like where you would place the highlights.
