Hey guys, I can't remember if it was in this episode or not, but Gary, can you post the title and author of that novella (novel?) that was like, "yeah, I bet it's kinda scary in theory if the universe doesn't care about you, but meanwhile, everyone in this immediate would wants to inflict violence upon me because I'm black." That's probably a terrible description, but I think you'll know what I mean. It sounded like exactly what I want to read right now...

2025-08-06 23:30:15 +0000 UTCA great british show that many people don’t seem to mention that much is The Detectorists, which is funny and poignant. And for some unfilmable stuff, Del Toro’s Cabinet of Curiosities anthology series has lots of great stuff in it, especially “The Viewing”.

Especially when he talks about how great a job it was and not like, that he may have been responsible for the deaths of hundreds of Iraqis

I think it’s good but it is annoying to me that the most interesting bits of story and character are just a straight paste from the tabletop campaign. It’s so fucking crunchy, which I appreciate, but it just makes me appreciate what Larian does so much more. Im not sure if I’d play WOTR again but I’ll definitely finish it and I don’t regret my time with it at all. Not sure if it would make a good season for RLH.
