Have your cake and eat it too! Voxta Cloud & Full Local Services!

Hey everyone! We've been hard at work to raise the bar and make Voxta really worth your time. I think we're getting there.

We're launching Voxta Cloud today

With Voxta Cloud, you can run Voxta without setting up local services or buying additional subscriptions. No headaches! Your Patreon tier gives you credits to play with based on your tier. We're also taking care of curating models, connecting with the very best AI providers, and adding a strong layer of privacy. Even we are unable to see any of your data. It's still in beta, but everyone can try it right now!

Use it to try Voxta before setting up local services, or mix and match with local services. What do you think? Did we nail this?

Going fully offline with ExLlamaV2, XTTS and Whisper

We care a lot about running everything locally, so we've added built-in ExLlamaV2 support for running GPTQ models without having to install other programs, XTTS for speech synthesis, and Whisper for transcription. If you have a good GPU with enough VRAM, you can run everything locally and get a very high quality experience! If you don't have enough to run everything - or if you want to also run Virt-A-Mate at the same time - you can always mix and match Voxta Cloud (or your favorite services) and local services. We recommend using XTTS locally and Voxta Cloud for the rest to maximize your credits usage.

More! More! Moooore!

There's a ton of other things we worked on recently, such as Linux support (in progress), a much better user experience and tons of quality of life improvements. There's also some nice experimental features, such as chatting remotely on a mobile phone, vision, tools to help generate characters and benchmarks to evaluate the newest fancy LLM of the day!

Let's not forget that Voxta is more than a companion software. It's a framework. We've made home automation demos, game integrations and our amazing community has been making super cool prototypes of desktop avatars and adult toy integrations.

Thank you!

Thanks to everyone who believed in us and contributed to the project, we're all really proud of what we've achieved, and we are very lucky to have so many talented and helpful people contributing by giving feedback, reporting issues, creating tools to augment Voxta (I'm looking at you, vaan20 and djsoapknuckles!) and help each other learning. We're just getting started, join us on Discord to see some of the crazy things we're working on!

Stay safe, and have unrestricted fun!

im on the $24 too.

So I decided to do the $24 month to see how this go..... how do we download?

If you can run Coqui locally, it only requires a 6+ second .wav dropped in a directory to clone a voice, and you can use a sample from 11. I've been experimenting with grabbing voices from video clips too, but it's hard to find a good clean one (though ffmpeg & audacity make it more possible once you find something you like). I'm spoiled being on an RTX 4090, but it seems like pretty lightweight stuff. Additional bonus if you can run it is decreased latency/faster responses.

Smumblepooch

Yeah we agree, TTS services are _crazy_ expensive right now! (That's really out of our control). That's why we recommend to try using XTTS (Coqui) instead, since that's by far the service that uses the most credits (but also, 11Labs voices are SO good....), another option if you don't want to host anything local, is to use NovelAI for voices. They're almost as good as 11Labs (but english only) and their subscription isn't that expensive.

Voxta

I really love the voices, but at the moment you have one 10 or 20 minute conversation with them and you ran out of credits.. It's just not practical :( But I love the idea! I'd run voice locally but for AMD it's difficult...

Great !

Roak Garnet

Mostly interested in the extra rooms for the animations. Are the rooms connected or available to download and will the AI’s have scripts for each room to move around in?

Bizzyjax

Great work on the Voxta Cloud.

Y’all are cranking out the progress - love it

Logovore

It's also the focus, the goal is not to be a cloud provider, but rather to have something for everyone, big GPU or not :)

Acid Bubbles

I have been a $12 supporter for some time now... more interested in the ExLlamaV2 support.

Michael Jordan

Once you subscribe, you'll receive the info, but in short Voxta Server and credits can be accessed from the portal, and the Virt-A-Mate things can be downloaded from Discord!

Voxta

Sounds cool... how do we download?
