VOXTA v125 Update

Hello everyone!

We’re super excited to share all the latest Voxta updates with you, and we’ve got some big improvements we think you’re going to love. We know how much time and energy you put into creating amazing content, and our goal with this update is to make things smoother, more flexible, and, of course, more fun. Let’s dive into some of the key features you can now explore!

First up, we’ve completely revamped the Voxta UI. Navigation has never been easier with the new tabs for characters and scenarios, letting you quickly get to what you need. A big highlight is the quality of life improvements—you can now interrupt a character mid-conversation or let them continue their last message. Plus, your creator’s name will automatically be attached to any character or scenario you create, making it easier to manage your content.

One of the coolest changes is the new packages feature. This is a big deal! Packages are designed to make it easier to connect Voxta with external platforms like Virt-A-Mate or Voxy. Now, you can group together characters, scenarios, assets, and even memory books, all in one neat package. You can share them as PNG, VXZ, or ZIP files, making collaboration and file management much simpler. Just keep in mind that once these elements are bundled, they’ll also be deleted together—so don’t forget to back up your data regularly!

We’ve also introduced a brand-new storytelling chat flow, perfect for all you roleplay fans out there. This feature adds a narrator alongside your characters, describing emotions and scene changes in real-time, like a traditional roleplay setting.

Speaking of immersive, the new asset system is a game changer. Now you can attach images or sounds to characters or scenarios that update dynamically as the chat progresses. Want to showcase a character’s different emotions or actions in real-time? No problem! You can add static images or even animated ones. Plus, you can play background music, ambient sounds, or sound effects to really set the mood. It's a powerful tool that’ll take your interactions to the next level.

Let’s not forget the scenario system overhaul! We’ve added buttons to events, so you can trigger actions during dialogue without using text or voice. This opens up a world of possibilities, especially for game-like setups. You’ll also love the new evaluate next event system, which lets you execute multiple events in a single turn. And if you’re scripting-heavy, there’s now a console and debug panel to test your scenarios and scripts before running a full chat. You can even dynamically switch the UI display mode between simple, avatar, and full modes mid-chat. It’s all about giving you the tools to create more interactive, custom experiences.

Characters have gotten a major upgrade as well. The lovely Catherine has been updated with new visuals and 30 different emotions. You’ll also notice two new narrators (one male, one female) who can be integrated into your scenarios. These narrators are tagged as scenario-only characters, helping you stay organized by hiding characters not in active use.

For those of you who like working with local services, we’ve updated support for ExLLama v2 and Cobold CPP. Plus, custom voices can now be bundled with their characters for easy sharing. And if you're a fan of Novel AI, you’ll be happy to know that it now integrates the new text API and supports the Erato model for more nuanced, creative responses.

To top it all off, we’ve got some great news for our script and scenario creators. The entire scripting system has been upgraded and streamlined, with support for multiple script files under one scenario and an easier-to-navigate UI. The new count message condition makes it simpler to trigger events after a set number of messages, adding more control to your storytelling. And we didn’t forget to improve the benchmark tool in the advanced section, which now offers new tests for sarcasm and refusal, helping you assess and fine-tune your models.

We know this is a lot to take in, and there’s even more packed into this update, but we hope these highlights give you a taste of what’s possible now with Voxta. Your creativity and support keep driving us to make Voxta the best it can be, and we couldn’t do it without you!

If you want to learn more or dive deeper into the specifics, don’t forget to check out the Voxta Discord server and our Patreon. Thanks for being part of the Voxta family, and we can’t wait to see what you create next!

Take care and see you soon!

Can anyone please comment on whether my PC conf is strong enough to use the self hosted option? I have a MSI GE 76 Raider (i7 11800 H @2.30 GHz). My graphics card is a RTX 3070 and I have 32 GB of ram. Thanks so much.

https://portal.voxta.ai/ go here, allow it to sync with Patreon and then go to downloads link. I imagine you've already figured this out by now though! : ) Wish you well.

Go to the Voxta portal with this link then allow it to sync with patreon, then click on downloads to see the Voxta Server downloads. You can get this link by joining the discord channel and connecting discord with your patreon account by going to the part of patreon settings called "connected apps" https://portal.voxta.ai/

Hi, just joined Voxta on patreon. I'm a long time, experienced VaM user but not a developer. I've downloaded the Voxta VaM plugin and some demo scenes on VaM but don't know where to find the download file for the local server. I've got the cloud id and api key but no local server. Any help would be appreciated. Also, is there something online that can walk a novice Voxta user through using it the first time with VaM. Again, I'm experienced with VaM. thanks New: just found the download files but not sure what to do with them. Do I open the server exe file and then run VaM while it's opened? Can my VaM characters then chat with me after I add the Voxta plugin to the character? Now realize I have to open the Desktop app and configure Voxta.

I have the ultimate tier, and I have my Patreon account linked to Discord. Why do I not have access to any of the links that my tier should grant me. Do I need some code?

Mike Hawk

Hey! You'll find all the scenes in the Voxta Discord. Sorry for the inconvenience. Later, we will simplify the process of downloading scenes.

Voxta
