Voxta v132 Release: Long-Term Memory, Account Security, and More!

We know we've been a bit quiet here on Patreon lately, but that's because we've been busy cooking up some awesome new features for Voxta! Since our last post about Voxta beta v125, we've rolled out several updates, and we're excited to finally share what's new in Voxta beta v132.

Long-Awaited Long-Term Memory for Characters: One of the biggest additions is the introduction of RAG (long-term memory) for characters. Your characters can now remember past interactions over extended periods, making conversations more engaging and realistic. To enable this feature, install the ChromaDB service, and in the character's edit screen under the memory tab, turn on Long Term Memory.

Voxta Scenarios Now Available: We've also started building some Voxta scenarios for you to try out! You can find them on our Discord in the Scenarios channel. This should give you a better understanding of what Voxta is capable of and help you build something you want.

Account Security Enhancements: You can now set a password on your account for added security. Plus, for those integrating with VaM, Voxy, or other clients, we've added API keys to help protect your data.

Network Restrictions and Mobile Access: We've implemented network restrictions to give you better control over who can access your Voxta Server instances. This also means you can now use tools like cloudflared to securely run Voxta on your mobile device. Please note that  Voxta Server app isn’t hosted in the cloud yet. You’ll need to run it on your Windows machine and then connect to it from your phone. This setup is still in the early stages and a bit experimental, but we’re working toward a cloud-based version down the line!

Experimental Multi-User Support: We've started rolling out experimental support for multiple users, each with their own services and characters. While this feature is still in development, we invite you to try it out and share your feedback.

Improved Chat Augmentations and Anti-Repetition Features: You can now access chat augmentations more quickly from the right panel. We've also significantly improved the Anti Repetition Prefix system in Voxta Utilities to help prevent models from repeating themselves.
