The Mendocino Series comes to a close in "Going Home"

In December 2023, I posted "Tracey Rose," an intended standalone short about a pair of former lovers who reconnected. A month or so later, "Renee Tilden: Expresso Love" came out, and as I'd written it in December into January, Tracey showed up, and the story took a twist. Almost a month later, "Wherever I Go" followed.

And then my writing worked its way into many other stories. I decided late last year that I needed to finish the Mendocino Series before its official one year anniversary on February 2nd.

This weekend, "Going Home" will go live on Kindle Unlimited and Amazon Kindle. It will have the old-style Kindle Cover Creator design, and I'll go back and replace all four covers later in the year (and work on the omnibus/paperback edition).

I can't say I'm sure that the story is done, but I've brought the cycle to a safe stopping point for the near term.

Majesty of Defeat is pretty much done, so it will probably come out the following weekend. After that, we'll see what comes out next.

I'll do my best to give patrons some early access on the next couple of things, but Kindle Unlimited has limits on how much is available for "free" (i.e. not through Amazon Kindle). That's why some authors you support here take their chapters down before the book goes in for publication.

Update: It's Saturday the 18th, and "Going Home" has been submitted to Kindle. Stay tuned.

Update: Going Home is live, as is the Kindle Countdown deal for the first two books.
