Some Goals Heading in to 2022

- First and foremost I want to get a production schedule more or less cemented for the five remaining intro chapters before work on the full game begins. Ideally, I’d like to keep that timeline at less than three months each to make the most of my time without getting stuck in Design Hell. On that bullet, my goal is to get the Amir chapter out to patrons somewhere in the end of March, beginning of April range.
- Community growth! Obviously growing the patreon is important to Tri City Monsters’ success but I would also like to build up an active and fun ‘fandom’ community as well, both on the Discord and on other social media. I have growth goals for number of patrons gained per quarter, as well as some metrics for Discord engagement, but I’d also like to do more to spotlight writers and artists who contribute to the fandom. One of the things I’d like to do on this note is start a monthly Patron Round Up where new patrons for the month get a shout out and non-patrons can see how our community is growing.
- Additionally, I’d like to get more moderators from within the community once the discord reaches a certain population level and perhaps get some fun artist/writer contribution roles set up for content creators.
- A website! Tri City really needs its own website and I have the skills to do that! Right now, my goal is to build something during the first quarter of the year to host links to where the game is playable, character bios, ways to join the community, and also migrate the concept art gallery to a special patreon only section.
There are more goals and metrics that I’m keeping track of in order to make the most of this year and do the best I can for TCM but I think these are the most immediately relevant/interesting to share. Here’s to a productive and fun year!
