Progress Report for Jan 27
Added 2022-01-28 04:17:42 +0000 UTCHello!
Today's progress update shows some movement in the art department. Atlas and I are about done with Amir's human body sprites and are now knee deep in dealing with his wardrobe. :'D
While we're still early in the quarter, I've decided to try and pull back a little on the Amir chapter to 1) let Atlas stay ahead of me a little and 2) get something checked off my 2022 goals: a website for TCM! (We're still on target for an early April release so far, but I think the website really deserves a little time investment asap so squeezing it in early makes more sense).
Because Tri City Monsters is surviving on word of mouth alone right now, a website would be an extremely valuable tool that can help direct people to the game if they want to play or support it. I'd like to get some nice character profiles up and running and eventually even a storefront for TCM merch at some point (fulfilled by a third party).
Also, would like to take a second for a HUGE thank you. TCM saw a large number of patrons joining up in January, adding to the very kind and cool people who joined up in November and December. The Mori AU short story should be ready next week (I need just a little more time with it) and we're already well on our way to achieving our next community goal: professional logo design. Thank you so much for your support, I love making this game and I am so hyped to build up a fun community around it. And thank you for telling your friends and online communities about TCM too!
Sending y'all my best vibes,
Sam
