Development on Amir's first outfit
Added 2022-02-27 16:30:39 +0000 UTCToday I bring you the evolution of Amir's first costume choice. Atlas and I have been jokingly calling this his "casual" look. One of Amir's passions is runway clothing so the first thing I did was scour the internet for some inspiration.
I made some alterations to the silhouette that sort of better suited Amir's personality and Atlas went to work.
Amir's stompy heels are very important to his characters, he's rarely seen without them and also he's incredibly confident so a 'casual' outfit that's still outrageously sexy so I definitely pushed for shiny, skintight material and lots of metal accessories. Also frankly I'm of the opinion that mesh is incredibly hot so I made a point to include that.
This is Atlas' work with light and shape, blocking out where the material would reflect and the general planes for further coloring.
Apologies for the black backround but this sprite isn't actually finished yet (hence his lacking hair). Atlas' color work really sticks hard to the vibes laid out in Mori's chapter while still giving Amir so much of his own style.
Also yes, he does pump his own gas for his car dressed like this.

I love this look on amir, I really wanted something more structured for his silhouette on his "casual outfit". I kind of default to imagining him wearing slinky black dresses with thigh slits or something totally sheer that lets you see Everything.
