First Logo Drafts!
Added 2022-05-09 16:26:10 +0000 UTCEarly post this week but Camila Fortuna has a bunch of really REALLY great logo rough to look at and I'd love to hear what you think!
Some things to keep in mind!
1) Camila specializes in hand lettering so the fonts in place right now are just place holders and will likely change a lot.
2) There's minor reliability tweaks that need to be made to these designs in general, they're intended to be conceptual.
I'm personally a fan of the C and E groups most but I'm really excited for a lot of the other design elements involved!

Thank you for the great feedback! That was essentially what I thought too- I really REALLY love the moon as an element, it would make a great emblem to add to icons and banners for social media images, etc. One of the things I'm definitely going to focus on as these designs get further refined is readability via outlines and more spacing between Tri and City PLUS tweaking the colors a little. Camila's been extremely responsive/helpful too so I'm sure that as we push forward we'll be able to take the design elements that work best and get something clear and eyecatching!

2022-05-10 03:00:30 +0000 UTCAs much as I love the creativity of having the moon incorporated into a 'C' for city in group D, it makes it so much harder to read imo Though I adore group C beyond a doubt, maybe you and Camila could find a way to add a moon into that design without making it too busy or hard to read? I feel like the moon is an important design for Tricity, really gives that feel of monsters roaming the night kinda thing. I also really love in group E how the city is rising out of the moon, its beautiful and captures the feel of Tricity so well but the colors on both I personally find make it really hard to read 'Tricity'. Maybe its the gradient, I don't know but it all blends together, you could maybe try adding an outline so the words are readable? Either way, loving the work and progress you guys have made so far!
