Update Schedule and Special Character Interview!

First, I wanted to show yall what the release schedule looks like between tiers when I have an update ready for you.

Because I want to involve Patrons in the development of TCM as much as possible, staggering the release like this gives me time to implement feedback and make changes based on your input.

As always, I've been popping these infographics up on the discord too so be sure to let me know here or there if you have questions/comments/suggestions.

The other thing I have for you today is a Character Interview with Mori! The idea was suggested to me on Tumblr and TCM discord regulars Rain and Atlas suggested some fun questions. I would definitely like to do more of these so I'll open up the Requests box for any questions you wanna suggest the next time I write one!

What was your first show? As an audience member and as a drummer?

M: Uh… I saw the Vandals open for a bigger, more mainstream band at a big venue when I was like a preteen. I’m pretty sure that was the first time I was ever in a mosh pit and I loved it. Couldn’t get enough. My first show as a drummer was with a friend’s band called Ultra Piss. I was just helping move equipment but the drummer twisted his ankle the night of their first show and couldn’t bass pedal so I filled in. Someone threw a beer bottle out of the audience and hit me in the face- had to go to some senior graduation prep thing next day with a broken and blood crusted nose ‘cause I was out so late. We did suck a lot though so that’s kind of expected!

How did you get into drumming in the first place?

M: …High school band. I tried a bunch of things but drumming came naturally. I thought it was boring as fuck most of the time until they finally let me play the drumset for some pep rally thing. I bought my own as soon as I’d saved up money and just felt it out from there.

Favorite comfort meal to cook?

M: Stereotypical but probably like a damn good burger. Don’t make them too thick, don’t constantly flip them, grill up some onions while you’re at it… I like making thin style patties and using toasted bread instead of a bun. More like a patty melt? I don’t cook a lot but damn you can’t go wrong with salty cheesy goodness.

Is a hot dog a sandwich?

M: What’s the opposition saying? My answer depends 100% on how mad I’m gonna make people.

Favorite holiday

M: Mischief Night. Or the night before Halloween, whatever you call it. A socially semi-tolerated time to put fireworks in someone’s gutter for no damn reason.

You have one week left to live, what do you do?

M: Exactly what I’m doing now but maybe a little closer to family.

What’s something you’re saving for the exact right moment?

M: I’m slowly building an almost 360 drum kit but it's a little intense and too hard to haul around for most shows. I’m still hooking up fluid lines for fire blasts. One day though. I will be in the middle of that unholy monument and there will be flames. Oh, I’m also installing a NOS upgrade on my ‘82 Datsun pickup.

Does the truck have a name?

M: Mostly, I call it “Please baby, don’t die yet” but Road Kill is spray-painted on the side of it from some other band I used to play in.

Any place you really want to wreak havoc in?

M: Any place where boring people pretend to be interesting. Whole Foods. Yuppie roadhouses that serve expensive grill food. Bars with dress codes. Gamestop. Wait, they’re bankrupt… Any music event where someone tells you to sit down. I have a very long list.

Edit: I see that formatting some of these posts may be slightly off depending on whether you're reading this on mobile or not. You can always check out the direct link to the doc on my google drive here

Added bonus! Discord regular Ares did some AMAZING headshot work of Mori and I'm all flustered <3
