GUI OVERHAUL SNEAK PEEK
Added 2023-05-01 05:09:39 +0000 UTCThe lovely and talented ingthing has been hard at work redesigning the UI and user experience for TCM and I wanted to give you guys the very first look at what they've got cooking. So you can see that for visibility and optical accessibility, ingthing's first order of business is rendering the general shape and style in black and white to ensure that all elements have appropriate contrast once color is decided on later.
One of the things I really wanted was for a modern, heavily stylistic approach with lots of animations/elements and asymmetric designs to lean into TCM's graphic, kind of poppy style. For Amir's special mind control abilities we wanted a unique dialog box and styling, which you can see in slides four and five.
Slide six was their first attempt at coloring and frankly I'm really in love with it, especially the grid textures and pink accents.
