Fursonas over time (random)

Okay, I was digging a bit in my old folders and I found these precious drawings :D.

2008 - The yellow one, Santeria. She was my next fursona after Safisia. I tried to be as edgy as possible, I think that her design and name show it very well xD.

2009 - Basically I had two fursonas. Pogo (I was a big fan of Marylin Manson's band and the design was inspired by one of the members and his appearance during one of tournee) and DeathStar. I don't have much to say about her, it was just a random design that I liked and had similar hair color to mine xD.

2010 - I finally became more stable with fursonas! The dark blue noodle is Devour. The name sounds weird but I was still highly influenced by Manson and this is how one of the songs is called. Now I know that such a name doesn't make much sense but back then I was pretty bad at English XD. I still like the design, it was simple but because of the pink eyes and crystals on the head and spikes with glowing things on them, it was somehow still eye-catching.

2012 - Devour name was shortened to Dev and earned new colors and bald spots, haha! This color scheme stayed with me until today :D. She's kind of a dragon/canine hybrid btw.

2013 - That year she became a very majestic creature and to be honest I show you this version only because I really love how she looked here xD.

2014 - Yees, it's still Dev but as I was becoming bored with trying to be as original/edgy as possible Dev became more average and canine looking. I was even thinking about making her a borzoi or saluki. I was very inspired by sighthounds and my sketchbooks were full of them. I love these dogs, they look so majestic <3.

2015 - My beloved kitty died this year. I was in a bad psychical condition even before that death and Dev was full of negative energy. I was feeling even worse while drawing her so I decided to create a new fursona. For the first time, it wasn't such a random change, woohoo xD! It was a well-thought decision. I analysed my favourite animals and breeds and I started to wonder why for my whole life my main characters are canines while I love cats the most. The breed was the easiest part as siamese cats were my favourite since I remember. I still wanted my new fursona to be a bit more original so I gave her bald spots around the body, long ears with tufts and such. The name was easy too as I wanted to give her my nickname so she can be "me" aaand that's how Safiru was born, haha!

2022 - I'm just old and sentimental so I don't feel like changing her in the near future, haha! She had some changes during the 8 years and now she's just a regular modern type of siamese cat without any extras in the design besides pink/red eyes and some glitter in the fur but I'm okay with that. I'm no longer trying to be original, I'm just ME now and I like it xD. 

Changes in the future are unavoidable. If I ever will think about changing Safi probably I'd switch to a lioness or tigress.
