Smolder Scrolls 3: Pages 29 & 30
Added 2021-09-13 16:10:18 +0000 UTCI almost got these pages done before the weekend came! Only had to do some highlights and smaller details this morning, so quick work!
Now that I'm looking at it, I'm not sure about the box for "SEXY" in panel 5 needed to be that much brighter? hmm hmm hmm. There was a few panels that I went over towards the end to double check them for readability and whatnot in this set. I don't think I usually have problems with it but my mind was just in that space today I guess! Small things like, a darker shadow in the last panel of page 30 to distinguish Dar-Miran's inner thigh from his penbis, (and a small highlight on J'drassa's butt on that panel, for fun!) darkening the background of panel 2, page 30, it was a bit too bright and looked much better when darker (but then I have to decide how dark was appropriate for the emotional context of the panel too).
Took out the onomatopoeia from pg 29, panel 3, because "WRING" didn't feel necessary and kinda detracted from the visual (to be honest). I feel as though that panel works pretty well as a silent little break, a nice little nude art to appreciate the way the body bends and positions, complemented with a bit of water and lighting elements, if that's not too art nerdy/horny for ya!
Okay, okay! I've talked your lil' ears off! I've gotta do some commission work, and then it's time to work on Empress of Thieves again!
