I needn't tell you that this episode contains shenanigans :3c
Sharing a wip of my usual colorpicking process, the difference might be subtle but it's there. I just doodle the rough blobs of background elements, they need to be quick and sloppy so that I wouldn't lose much progress if I decide to change something, and let it simmer for days as I work on lineart in other panels. I use color correction as well as manually repaint some elements if needed (e.g. tree shadows here). When I've decided on the colors, I colorpick these to all other panels.
If this was interesting to you, please let me know. I'm a self-taught artist, which means I'm actually clueless and terrible at cohesively talking about what I do x'D But who knows, maybe this's helpful to someone??
