Art Traffic Jam

I've got my head in so many places right now. Lots of incomplete pictures and more on the horizon.

Rather than spending all day presenting my thoughts, feelings, inspirations, and everything else, I'm just going to dump a bunch of sketches and other WIP materials that I'm either done with or working towards completing. I'll give a few thoughts if I can.

Here's what I'm up to at the moment.

Pretty Mermaid Princess Coral - She's so precious, but I want personality flaws. Maybe a cruel streak, or something else. I'm not sure what works quite yet. Regardless, here's the WIP. It's getting there.
Marianne at the Water's Edge - Painted a background for Mina to help enhance this pic for the upcoming print version. Hardbrush painting style.
I Moved in with The Hero (BUT ALL HE DOES IS PLAY GAMES!!) - Before I got pulled into a million other things, I made one important modification to this image that (I feel) enhances the story telling. See the panicked girl standing outside the sliding glass door on the balcony?

I thought of this and couldn't get it out of my head, so I added it to the picture.
Girl In Anguish - In my head canon, she's helping pay for college with food delivery gig work. She's infatuated with The Hero. After knocking on the door, not getting a response, but hearing a female voice emanating from within, she goes ninja mode and scales the building with her delivery. She makes it to the balcony and watches in horror as that slut climbs all over HER dude ...or something like that. Anyway, that's my premise.

And here's the full scale rendition. WIP, of course. Clothes optional.
Noelle - I posted this on my socials, but never got around to putting her up here. This is Noelle, AKA Amilee Dorie. They're a Tuber-essayist who mostly talks about obscure hentai visual novels that virtually no one in the west has ever played, on account that they've mostly never been localized in English. Fortunately, Noelle is fluent enough to glorious Nipponese to take on the task of being a huge pervert and reporting on their findings. To show my appreciation for her exertions in consuming and reporting on weird dirty games, I took up my pencil and sketched her.

At this point in my life, I'm not even in Plato's cave watching the walls. I'm hearing about what's happening second hand from the other cave dwellers as they relay their impressions of the false projections. At least in the case of Noelle, along with summarizing all the dirty games they're grinding through, they add a huge amount of scholarly information on the works, the artists involved, and how all this fits in the history of VN and vidya gaming in general.

Thanks Noelle, in my full abstracted world of non-experiences, at least I can count on you to tell a good tale.
Clothes!!! - I know, exciting. Just tell yourself by looking at these, you're actually gaining huge amounts of knowledge that'll aid you in your own artistic endeavors.

Ecchi05-Pinku Rinku - Awhile back, I tapped away at this one a little more. It's like a cousin to the also not-quite finished Shipwrecked Elven Princess shot. I plan on going at both once the current projects are finished up.I just found the sheet with the faces on the HDD. Yikes, 2023 folks. This project goes back a way.
That's it for the public view. Onto the spicier things.

Boob Comparison - Posted this up on the socials. Flat or Huge. Flat took about 36% of the vote, huge took 64%. Huge wins. No one was surprised. Well, I was surprised that flat did so well.

Anyway, to celebrate Huge's victory, and make good on former promises, I took the character shots, smooshed them together, and then reworked things a bit until the drawing looked like this. Heh, boobs.

I'm thinking some type of seaside mangrove swamp with overhanging branches. I need to put together reference and research materials, but then, it's showtime
