Leaving Patreon: PLEASE READ
Added 2020-07-17 06:43:50 +0000 UTCRecently, Patreon has decided that it's in their best interest to begin monitoring art and opinions on the social medias of creators using their platform. This means Patreon is enforcing Patreon ToS beyond just Patreon and will force you to remove any content ANYWHERE if the creator wants to keep their Patreon account. They want total control over content.

So, on top of an already existing problem with Patreon, this new one arises. Today, Patreon, who's mission statement claims to "support all creators", demonstrates itself as a power hungry platform with dangerous amounts of user control. As you've probably noticed, I don't support Patreon's direction and am deciding to drop the platform. I value my freedoms of a creator, and Patreon does not support that idea anymore.

SubscribeStar functions like Patreon, but actually holds no bias, and truly supports all of it's creators.
I'll leave my Patreon up and run things like normal UNTIL August which is when I'll pause payments and eventually delete my Patreon for good.
I apologize for this terrible inconvenience, but I will no longer support this creator platform who doesn't even support creators.
