In the void passage, a Void Ship was speeding forward at an incredible pace, far surpassing the speed of the ship Lan Feng'er had previously taken. This was, of course, because the one controlling this Void Ship was Lan Yi.

Lan Yi, softened by her words, nodded and looked at Ye Xin lovingly. "Xin'er, you’re much more sensible than your mother."

A moment later, Lan Yi asked with concern, "By the way... is Xiao Qian alright?"

"No problem. He’s just a bit upset. He’ll be fine in a while," Ye Xin replied with a smile, knowing exactly what her grandfather was referring to.

Lin Qian had been preparing for a big reward. Over the past five years, he had accumulated five hundred silver chests, planning to open them all at once. However, after opening the first hundred chests, he only received two Diamond Potential Potions and six Diamond Experience Potions.

But when Lan Yi, curious about the process, opened a hundred chests, he shockingly obtained ninety-eight Diamond Potential Potions, with only two chests not yielding top-tier rewards.

Atop the continent were two massive celestial bodies that seemed to supply an endless flow of water, creating two colossal waterfalls that fell into the ocean on either side of the landmass.

The planets receiving the continent's water distributed it to others, continuing the cycle in an endless, mesmerizing rotation.

"This is the Sea Spiral Sacred Academy. The continent in the center is the Inner Academy, and the seven planets around it make up the Outer Academy. Once you pass the trials, you'll become disciples of the Outer Academy and will be assigned to one of the planets," Lan Yi explained as their Void Ship slowly approached the academy.

The closer they got, the more extraordinary the academy seemed. The sheer scale of what lay before them was awe-inspiring.

Even a fool could see that the sight before them—the Sea Spiral Sacred Academy—had been deliberately constructed.

Other Void Ships, just like Lan Yi's, were arriving from all directions, heading toward the green planet among the seven orbiting the continent.

Lan Yi’s ship descended onto the green planet, where they disembarked. He stored the ship away, and they found themselves standing before a massive city.

Entering the city, Lan Yi led them to a courtyard. "This is one of our clan’s properties. The trials will begin in about a month, so you can rest here for now. I’ll return after the trials are over."

After showing them around, Lan Yi took Lin Qian and Ye Xin to the city’s central square.

This place, known as Trial City, was specifically for hosting the Sea Spiral Sacred Academy’s trials, a name that suited its purpose perfectly.

The trial square was crowded with people of all kinds, many of whom Lin Qian and Ye Xin had never seen before. There were humanoid beings who shifted into human form to expedite their cultivation, and others who maintained their original forms. There were even non-human races that closely resembled humans.

The variety was eye-opening for both Lin Qian and Ye Xin.

Especially Lin Qian, who was intrigued as he observed the different beings around him. In the games of his previous life, there hadn’t been so many races—each of these was unique, vibrant, and strange in their own way.

In the center of the trial square, a large soul-powered screen displayed the trial’s rules, which Lin Qian and Ye Xin carefully read through.

The rules were as follows:

• Participants must bring between one hundred and three thousand subordinates. The subordinates' cultivation levels must not exceed three realms higher than the participant’s.

• Participants are allowed to form alliances as they wish.

• Participants may use any pills or soul artifacts, but their quality must not exceed the participant’s cultivation level.

These were the basic rules, while the more specific trial objectives would be announced once the trial began.

But just from these basic guidelines, Lin Qian could tell that the Sea Spiral Sacred Academy was far from ordinary. What kind of academy allowed students to bring subordinates to their entrance trials?
