Volume 14 Chapter 39:

Volume 14 Chapter 39:

Keith and the others returned from work. He then asked, "What do you guys want for dinner?"

"Fried chicken!" "I want fried shrimp!"

"..." Fried food? Again? They had fried food just a day ago. He asked again, "Are you sure we should do this?"

"Fried food!" "It always hits well once we finish a good day of work!"

"...Fine." Keith sighed. I will use less oil to do so. Once he was finished preparing dinner, they started to eat. That was when Aidiun asked, "Keith, where did you get those plates?"

"Hmm? Do you mean the ones Eri was playing with?"

"Mmhmm."

“Oh, I made them. I plan to make some more.” Keith grinned at Eri, “We’re also going to have a fruit and vegetable series.” He was going to use the colors as a good way to separate them.

“Really?!” Eri’s eyes glimmered.

Aidiun added, “Are you going to commercialize it? It would actually be good if you did?”

“Huh?”

Cadmus blinked, “You think those things will be good?” This was the first time the dragon heard about the plates.

Eri waved them into the air, “Grandpa Cadmus, look!” As Sohma and Cadmus stared at the plates, that was when they understood.

“Yeah, you should mass-produce this.”

“Mmhmm.”

Those two understood why the elf was acting so excited.

“Really, but it’s really nothing.” Keith shrugged. The only reason why he made this was because he thought it would be an interesting way to get Eri to learn.

Cadmus scoffed, "As usual, you make something without thinking so much about how effective it is." This was the typical kind of action by Keith. The others agreed; the chocolate factory was the most recent one.

“I think this is a good way for kids to learn about things more so than that. Don’t you understand what I mean?”

“Oh.” Keith understood. The disparity between commoners and nobles. This was especially prominent during the classes which Keith experienced. He was in both S and F classes; their learning curriculum was heaven and earth. Basic knowledge and fundamentals; each one was different.

All of this came down to wealth. The commoners focused more on gathering and others, while nobles had to read books and learn at an earlier age. It was different.

“With this, I think we can bolster the knowledge if you mass produce them cheaply,” Aidiun muttered. Plates like this would help children learn or gain basic knowledge.

Keith scratched his head, “You think people would buy these?” Food and other things related to this, he could tell they were instant sellers. But gimmicks and toys like this, not so much.

“Of course!” Carolyn and the others nodded.

“Alright then, I will see if I can have Coyler and the others do something about this.” Since he had a merchant group, there was no need to find a place where they could sell this.

“If we can do something like this, would we be able to streamline it to the other kingdoms as well?” The others thought as they held their heads.

“Sure, we can do something like that.”

“...You’re getting richer and richer, huh?” Cadmus murmured as he knew that he would only get richer with this toy. Keith shrugged, “Not my problem. Actually, let’s have some testers and feelers out. I can hand one to Leon and Laura and Long Hao.” Those three should be good.

“Okay!”

Keith and Eri headed out the next day, where Eri started to point at objects.

“Lemon!”

“Orange!”

“Rose!”

As she glanced around, she continued to point at items that were before her. Keith couldn’t help but chuckle as he nodded, “Yes, you’re correct Eri.” He rubbed the child’s hair as he continued to walk. Today, he was going to be buying some meat to bring back home. As they were walking with one another, that was when they arrived at Helen’s shop.

“Eri, how about a little break here?”

“Mmhmm!” Eri nodded as they entered the room. That was when Helen greeted him, “Hello, Keith! Aww, the little one is with you as well.” Like the others, she had been dotting on Eri during the cart. Keith nodded, “Mmhmm. I’ll have a cup of espresso.” Those eyes said it all, and Helen smirked, “Alright. I’ll show you something nice.”

“Child, you’re here as well?”

“Ahh, hello Mr. Baker.” Keith spotted the old man on the side. He smiled, “I take it that you come here all the time?” From how he talked, it seemed that this was a usual spot.

“Of course, this shop is always a good scent to it.” Baker grinned as he saw how Keith was calm, “And I take that you did something here as well.”

“I don’t know what you’re talking about.” Keith maintained his composure as Helen brought the drink over. Before him, there was an espresso while Eri got herself some orange juice.

Keith started to sip on it as he nodded, “Mmhmm, you got better.”

“Actually, there’s something else I want you to try.”
