school nerves
Added 2021-08-20 21:37:38 +0000 UTChi everyone!
as mentioned in my life update, I am starting school up again next week. finally starting my senior year of uni and idk why I am so nervous. maybe because i havent been to an actual in-person class since march of 2020? or maybe its because i feel so unprepared to keep up with youtube, streaming, patreon, and school after just focusing on work the past 6 months?
either way, im stressed. what are your favorite ways to deal with anxiety? i'd love to hear some in the comments. i need em' real bad right now.
also, would any back to school content be of interest to you guys? i thought about maybe doing something like a back to school supplies haul, or even a vlog of my first week. im just trying to think of ways to make content that can easily integrate into my new schedule + workload. let me know ur thoughts!!

Yoga, and for planning always divide your priorities in 3 (weekly and then daily) and always leave a couple of hours ech day un unplanned for things you did not plan. My biggest advice as an older woman (29) is that you should try your best, but if it is too much, is OK to let go of something (for now). My biggest anxiety came when I had to much in my plate and even before starting, the feeling of failing was overwhelming. You are your priority #1, do not forget.

2021-08-23 19:27:17 +0000 UTCNo 1 advice I have for any kind of emotional pain/stress is to meditate and get in touch with your higher self. By meditating I got rid of the intrusive thoughts and stopped biting my nails after 10 years. Sometimes even if we have everything organized and planned, we’re still feeling stressed and burned out. To me that’s a sign of emotional neglect. So I just sit down and try to take deep breaths, focus on my body and how it feels. Hope you get better babe <3
2021-08-21 15:27:36 +0000 UTCI would love to see any content surrounding your new start! Back to school hauls, vlogs, what you do to prepare etc. 🥰 Anything that could help make the transition easier I’m sure all of us would be in support of! As for anxiety; when it gets too bad I try to switch off by taking some time specifically for me - having a bath with a book or quiet music, doing a little pamper session, baking helps a lot too! Just something you can focus on that benefits you that doesn’t necessarily involve the thing you’re stressed about. I agree with the others though that I’m a massive planner too… it helps with the thoughts of control 🙈💕✨

2021-08-21 06:39:00 +0000 UTC"ASMR is supposed to be relaxing for us to watch so when it’s relaxing and natural for you to create, that will shine through" this is such a good point and definitely something i needed to hear!! thank you

2021-08-21 06:38:49 +0000 UTCmost of my anxiety comes from feeling like i don’t have control over my stress/my life so i like to do little things to exert some control i.e. reorganizing my books or makeup, rewatching things i’ve seen before, planning out the next week or month of work/assignments in a planner or organizer, etc. you should post whatever feels natural and whatever fits into the flow of your life! ASMR is supposed to be relaxing for us to watch so when it’s relaxing and natural for you to create, that will shine through in your videos 💗 good luck finishing up!
2021-08-21 02:11:48 +0000 UTCim going into my senior year of hs and im stressed too. ik it probably isnt comparable but i like to plan out ahead of time - that way if im stressed, i can at least rationalize that theres no reason to feel that way bc i do have a plan :) i think school content would be super interesting!! im applying to psychology courses in the fall partially inspired by you and every time i hear you talk about your major i get so excited 🪴
