Because as a black queer person, I struggle to understand how an individual's queerness or transness precludes their ability to participate, enable, or benefit from ytness or yt supremacy. In my experience, trans folks are no less immune to protecting or enforcing yt supremacy than their cis heteronormative counterparts. The phrase "Whiteness isn't real" encourages us to interrogate the parts of society that we speak of as innate, natural, or "real" as opposed to understanding their constructions as resulting from generations of history (true). However, this interrogation should not encourage us to attempt to suppress or ignore its current or enduring existence. I have seen way too many queer lefist yt folks completely stomp on black and brown folks in community with them, and excuse this by pointing to whichever level of marginalization they feel entitled to weaponize. Which leads to such awkward blind spots at times. Like... mentioning being a white afropessimist as if it should land you a... kudo? I'm not sure, I couldn't really see the point of that particular info. In sum, though you are trans, you are still white. Please come to terms with that and challenge--not mask--it

TLDR i have a very specific perspective on the topic you mentioned you are working on about ytness being a lie (and how it clashes with other instersections) and would honored to do an interview for your vid or even just talk about this shit because this position is so fucking isolating and often misunderstood but i have no platform whatsoever nor do i really want one. Hey FD, im a long time fan and trans dyke antifa anarchist who was raised yt but rejects that poisonous lie (my ancestors are irish and french, but "my people" are just trans folks). I have a lot of shit to say about how our mutual oppressors tried to force me to be one of them, but in terms of gender and in terms of racism. Im also a pig r-pe survivoe which is a very complicated situation when everyone assumes I dont have anything to fear from the pigs and such. I have lots of organizing experience amd honestly your stuff is more academic than my comfort zone but i do have a polisci degree. I'm inclined towards Afropessimism with regard to my, idk, lens through which i try to understand Black liberation movements fwiw. The point being, I know you said you were doing a video on "whiteness isnt real", and i didnt know how to contact you other than here but if you want to interview someone who has been in the deep end of this specific subject for years, please let me know. Id be honored and super thrilled.
