Progress Update: 2/5/25

Greetings. I'm happy to say that we've added another video to our production pipeline and we absolutely aren't overwhelming ourselves.

Joking aside, DerEineSchwarzeRabe is currently collating the last of the information we need for Project A, and so we've begun work on a new video, Project B, that I would like to use as our release for this month. The good news is that no research is required for Project B, given that I'm already quite familiar with the topic, and so I've already begun work on the script and intend to have it finished soon. I compare it in scope to the Purr Cat Cafe (which was also completed extremely quickly after the Groverhaus video fell through and became a Warrens episode instead) and in substance to MotherHorseEyes, though this is much more self-contained. Ryan has already begun work on the music for it and intends to write it as I complete script. There will be no additional animations, though DerEineSchwarzeRabe may contribute a few illustrations.

Another element that will be addressed is our lack of subtitles: DerEineSchwarzeRabe will not only be helping with research, but they will also be helping add subtitles to each new release as well as going back to previous releases to add professional quality subtitles to those, as well. Research will have to take precedence, since output should be prioritized, but it's something that has been sorely lacking from videos so far.

On a wider scale, our new production pipeline is proving extremely efficient; now that all parts of the team are constantly working and I've stepped more into my role as a team leader and manager, we are making progress much more rapidly. We've been holding weekly meetings as a team to keep everyone apprised and I've been having daily meetings with Arc to make sure progress continues at a steady rate. Thank you for sticking with us as we enter this new phase.

Below, you can find a brief summary of work completed on the three active projects. Thank you everyone, and I look forward to showing you what we've been creating.

The Foxhole Video: Ryan has 16 minutes of music finished of part 2, leaving only about ten minutes remaining. Arcaxon has created assets for husks, which is what is left behind when a defensive emplacement is destroyed, and is now working on converting the layout of the first base to a version that can be replaced with these husks.

Project A: Progress is bottlenecked at research at the moment while a final few pieces are collected. Depending on how quickly the script is finished, this research may be paused while they move to produce subtitles for Project B.

Project B: The script currently sits at approximately 2,000 words and is steadily progressing. No specific estimates for length yet, though it may exceed an hour. Rough music for section 1 has been completed and work on section 2's music has begun.

The Power Rangers Video: No progress, awaiting other projects to be completed.
