This was definitely a tough one, but I'm glad you all voted on it, because I got to push myself in a direction I usually don't. And now I can cast a much wider net of who we can consider a HistoryMaker.
The next HistoryMaker will be an old favorite of mine: Ibn Khaldun! But keep an eye out for another poll of HistoryMakers topics very soon, and help decide what our next slate of figures will be!

Hmm. China mostly minded its own business for centuries, so maybe Confucian classics are a good guide. But then China got pushed around for a couple of centuries, and now suffers with a one-party kleptocracy. Blue, do you recommend reading English translations? How many hundreds or thousands of pages?
