History Summarized: Malta!
Added 2019-08-16 15:01:00 +0000 UTCThis was a real treat to assemble. Malta had always been that thing that I knew vaguely exists but didn't know anything specific about. It was Sicily's Sicily, just minus the historically ceaseless depression.
But little did I know that there was a little bit of everything wrapped up in this tiny island, the tenth smallest country in the world, roughly the size of the city of Munich by land mass. The history of Malta is definitely up there along with Medieval Moorish Spain on my list of "Most Surprisingly Impressive Histories In History".

Thanks, Blue. I knew some of the history of Malta. I didn't know the Axis siege was that long. I knew the population took shelter in caves. One of my favorite things about the Knights Hospitalers/Order of St. John is that the St. John's Ambulance logo (with Maltese Cross) is on the door of the TARDIS, I don't fault you at all for sticking to actual history. There's so much to cover.
