2021-04-16 03:38:01 +0000 UTCRed, I think Loki and Prometheus might share a common proto indo european origin: they are both tricksters who oppose their Pantheons, come from a different race of gods defeated by said Pantheon (titans, frost giants), they have a link to fire for the benefit of humanity and they get chained to a rock and tortured by an animal as punishment. The similarities are just too strong

I'll post a link to where you can watch it, but it's basically a comedy-based sequel to the Journey to the West, with the main character wielding Sun Wukong's staff and fighting his enemies, while being trained by the Monkey King himself. It commits the sin of having the Demon Bull King being the "main villain" of the first season, but it seems to pay good homage to the original story, and be hilarious all the same. Also, the guy voicing Sun Wukong is the guy who currently does the voice of Son Goku in DragonBall Z, so it's kinda coming full circle in the WEIRDEST WAY POSSIBLE!!

It was also the video that finally made me realize that I wasn't supporting you here...which honestly suprised me when I realized, since you all have been some of my favorite creators for quite some time now.
