Red uses "hat trick" in a way I am not familiar with. I've only ever heard it for scoring three times, succeeding three times, etc. I'm guessing Red is referencing illusionists rather than athletics? (I am very much *not* into spectator sports, but I love magic tricks, so it's ironic if I've missed a reference in my preferred frame of)
