About "City of Desire" and Some of My Thoughts

Dear friends, recently I have been working on the content of "City of Desire", so I'm sorry for not replying to some messages and comments in time.

I thought about this production for a long time and came up with some ideas.

Previously, the character storylines were relatively short, and some were composed of multiple characters' plots together. For the apartment section I'm working on this time, I want to make each character's storyline as rich as possible compared to before.

Friends who have played this game also know that unlike the games I made later, the CGs in this game cannot be controlled and are just some videos that you have to wait to finish playing. I'm very sorry about this, but for the consistency of this game, I have to keep making them in this way until it's completed. However, I will try my best to improve the quality of these videos (clarity, frame rate, and smoothness of the actions) in the future. This time, it took me about 8 hours to make one video. I will post it in the next post with blurring.

Other thoughts: First of all, I really need to apologize to everyone. There have been bugs in the game all along, which has indeed affected everyone's gaming experience. Before each update, I would carefully check, but still couldn't completely solve these problems. Now I also realize that it's really beyond my ability to handle all the work of game production by myself. So I have found a partner to help, and we will jointly optimize the game production.

Besides, I also want to share with you some of my feelings during the production process. Having worked on graphic design for two years and game production for one year, from scratch to now, although my skills have improved a lot, I still feel that it's far from enough... Every time I design a scene or think about a gameplay, I always wonder what you would think - would you be satisfied or have various complaints? Many friends have given me great suggestions, which have really inspired me. However, due to limited energy and the fact that everyone has different preferences, sometimes it's really impossible to adopt all of them. I hope you can understand this situation where it's hard to please everyone.

To be honest, I actually have many ideas in my mind, such as post-apocalyptic survival, hospital mysteries, escape rooms, detective reasoning and other themes. I also want to try different perspectives and interaction methods. But looking at the two unfinished long-form games on my hands, I also understand one thing: Finishing what I have now is the greatest respect for those who support me.

These are all my true feelings. They might be a bit wordy... Just consider them as my ramblings, hahaha!

Finally, I still want to say thank you. It's your every download and every piece of feedback that has enabled me to go further and further on this creative journey. Next, I will continue to focus on innovative content, and at the same time, I will also spend time learning new technologies and tools to bring you more diverse content. 亲爱的朋友们,最近我都在制作“City of Desire”的内容,所以有些消息和评论没有及时回复很抱歉.

这次的制作我思考了很久有了一些想法.

（1）之前的角色剧情内容都较短,并且有一些是好几个角色一起构成的剧情.而这次制作的公寓部分,我想尽可能做成较之前相比每个角色的剧情内容更加丰富一些.

（2）玩过这个游戏的朋友也知道，这个游戏不像我后续制作游戏的一样能够控制CG的播放,而是一些只能等待播放结束的视频.对此我很抱歉，但是为了这个游戏的统一性只能一直以这种形式制作下去直到它完结，但是接下来我会尽可能提高这些视频的质量（清晰度以及帧数、动作的流畅性）这次有一个视频的制作花了我大概8个小时的时间，我会在下一个帖子将它打码发出.

其他想法：首先，真的得跟大家道个歉。游戏里一直有BUG出现，这确实影响了大家的游戏体验。每次更新前我都会仔细检查，但还是没能完全解决这些问题。现在我也意识到，一个人负责游戏制作的所有工作，真的有点超出我的能力范围了。所以我已经找了一位伙伴来帮忙，共同优化游戏的制作.

此外这次也想跟大家聊聊我在制作过程中的一些感受。做了两年图像设计，一年游戏的游戏制作，从零开始到现在，虽然我的水平提高了不少，但我总觉得这些远远不够....每次设计场景或者想玩法的时候，我都会想着你们会怎么看——是觉得满意还是会有各种不满？很多朋友都给了我很棒的建议，真的很受启发.不过因为精力有限，再加上每个人喜欢的东西不一样，有时候确实没办法全都采纳，希望大家能理解这种“众口难调”的情况.

说实话，我心里其实有很多想法，比如末日生存、医院谜案、密室逃脱、侦探推理这些题材，还想尝试不同的视角和互动方式.但是看看手头还没做完的两个长篇游戏，我也清楚一件事：先把现有的东西做好，才是对支持我的人最大的尊重.

这些都是我的心里话,可能会有点啰嗦...就当是我的碎碎念吧哈哈哈!
