THE REVOLUTION(ary war video) IS COMING!

Hey all! Hope you're having a fabulous February. Just wanted to post a little update on what I've been working on, before I take a week off for Mardi Gras.

I know I made a big stink about 2025 being the year of Revolutionary War content (and it will be!) but I realize it's almost March and I haven't released anything yet. The holdup is mostly due to the American Revolution being just a very huge and complex topic and every time I feel like I have a handle on it, I get sucked down a new rabbit hole of research. And yet more books are taunting me from the "to read" pile...

I have one script already written, a materialist analysis of American liberalism and the intersection of the Revolution and the English Civil Wars (it's a spicy one). I plan on shooting it after Carnival and should have it out pretty quickly after that. I'm also five lessons deep with a dialect coach learning the accent of an upper class New Englander in the 1770s. It's tough because I keep falling back into OP – it's similar in some ways but very different in others – so it's been kind of kicking my ass a little bit. I'm excited to show it off on the channel in quotes and stuff – and possibly that "Thomas Jefferson Reacts" series or a Demonology type video where I read some famous period documents or something.

Most of my time the past two weeks has been spent editing the footage from Frozen '50s Man Episode 4 that we shot earlier this month. It's going to knock your socks off. And your underwear. It's the best one yet, by far.

Having many of the Sudbury Devil filmmaking troupe in town for Frozen '50s has also led to some really exciting conversations about what our next film is going to be. It's looking like something may get going on that front later this year...

In the meantime, cool history shit is coming, it's just going to take a little while longer. So grateful to all y'all for your amazing support. Happy Mardi Gras πŸ’š πŸ’œ πŸ’›

Reading some documents in the period accent could be really cool!
