i guess with the actual episode, y'know they're in the hospital and it's kinda like a makeshift fighting ground, they have to avoid or fight the alphas and they know they don't have the same type of muscle as them. and it's constant moving and fight or flight moments too. now, lydia had just been strangled and almost unalived, imagine going from that situation to the hospital one. plus, there's not much she can do for them in the episode, it's kind of an active fight episode, even stiles stays in the truck with cora. and there's something else about holland's contract, like she has to miss one episode per season for some reason idk, obviously that changes when we hit season 4, but all in all, after what lydia just went through, i think it's realistic for her to take an episode off and recover from that whole experience (she's now almost been unalived twice and she doesn't heal, and her mental state is a tad more delicate than the others too)

i still don't understand why Lydia is not in this episode since we learned something MAJOR about her! i hate how they make her "disappear" in some episodes but i'm excited for what's coming...

Oh and about this episode. I really like the duality of Jennifers character. I put it down to the fact that she’s doing these really evil things, but her motivation isn’t evil. She honestly believes she’s doing the right thing, making the world safer etc. Next episode is a corker. One scene in particular is a favourite for many people. 😬

Im from south eastern Australia (hot dry summer, mild winter, warm days cool nights in autumn and windy fickle volatile weather in spring) and I absolutely love the smell of the rain. Particularly in our summer when it’s really strong. Fun fact. The word for that smell is Petrichor. It was named by Australian scientists back in the 60s. I moved to northern Australia (tropical) for a while and I missed the seasons and their smells so much. Summer up there smelt like mildew and rotting plants.

Kali is so much stronger than Derek bc of both her age and killing her pack. She was already an alpha of her own pack when Derek was a child so she much more experienced at being a werewolf also. But I don’t think the power levels between them wouldn’t be so different if she hadn’t killed her whole pack and absorbed that power.

I just love every episode of this season, i could rewatch it and rewatch it and never get tired of it. Season three really is teen wolfs best season, at least most people think so. I really enjoy the plots this season with jennifer and then the alpha pack. Missed lydia this episode since we found out she was a banshee last ep, but so much more good stuff to come this season, excited for your 3b reactions.

I am from Norway and i for sure smell the rain. I love the smell of rain ☺️ I love Scott and Stiles in the last part of the episode! Both actors do a really good job with the emotional acting, specially with each other!
